Whitney Institute beat Sandys to win Middle School Netball Tournament
Whitney Institute Middle School swept all before them to win the 2022 Bermuda School Sports Federation Middle School Netball Tournament after defeating Sandys Secondary Middle School 12-3 in the final.
Whitney were led to glory in the final by Akeira Mallory with seven goals and E’Rynn Paynter, who scored five. Razeeyah Robinson, X’he-naye Simons and Jazmyn Sutton scored for the west enders.
Whitney defeated Bermuda High School 8-2 in their semi-final. This time it was Payntethe top scorer with six goals while Mallory added two. Somers Estwanik scored both goals for Bermuda High School.
Sandys edged out Dellwood Midddle School 7-6 in the other semi-final. Robinson scored six times with Sutton adding another for Sandys. A’meerah Outerbridge and Malaysia Furbert scored three goals each for Dellwood
