Yushae DeSilva-Andrade through to final of World Boccia Cup

Yushae DeSilva-Andrade is on the verge of her biggest win after making it through to the final at the World Boccia Cup in Fortaleza, Brazil.
The Bermudian beat home favourite and world no.1 Andreza Vitória De Oliveira 11-3 in the semi-final on Wednesday evening and will now face Satanan Phromsiri, of Thailand in the championship decider.
De-Silva Andrade beat Phromsiri 4-2 in her second group match to qualify for the knockout stages.
Omar Hayward was also in action in Brazil. He played world no. 2 Witsanu Huadpradit from Thailand, losing 11-1, before going down to a narrow 3-2 defeat against world no. 25 Martin Frkovic, of Croaitia.
