Karate community benefits from teaching of Team USA medal winner
Bermuda’s karate community have been treated to a memorable experience across two days of seminars featuring the esteemed Gakuji Tozaki.
The sessions, hosted by the Bermuda Karate Federation last week, featured the return of Tozaki to the island to share his invaluable insights and experiences.
As an accomplished athlete and an inspiration to many, Tozaki boasts an impressive list of accomplishments including as a USA karate team member winning medals at Wolrd Games, Premier League and Pan American Games level.
“The Bermuda Karate Federation, express its appreciation for Tozaki's return and underscored the significance of such initiatives in the long-term athletic development and strategic plan of the organisation,” said Edmond Johnson, Secretary of the BKF.
“This seminar series was a testament to the federation's commitment to nurturing Bermuda's karate talent.
“The seminars drew enthusiastic participants from prominent karate dojos across Bermuda, all eager to learn from a true karate legend.
“Attendees, ranging from students to instructors, left with new-found inspiration and a renewed commitment to their karate journey.
“The Bermuda Karate Federation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Gakuji Tozaki for his unwavering support and dedication to the local karate community. His commitment to Bermuda's athletes serves as a shining example for all to follow.
