Jessica Lewis finishes seventh in 400m final at Paralympics

Jessica Lewis completed her 2024 Paralympics programme by finishing seventh in the T53 400 metres final on Thursday afternoon.
Lewis, who 24 hours earlier, had finished fifth in the 100 metres final, stopped the clock at 1min 00.82sec, behind Swiss star Catherine DeBrunner who set a new Paralympics record of 51.60 to claim the gold medal.
Samantha Kinghorn, who won gold in the 100, picked up the silver medal with China’s Hongzhuan Ghou winning the bronze medal.
