Saltus victorious in Middle School boys volleyball tournament
Saltus Grammar School defeated Somersfield Academy in straight sets to win the Bermuda School Sports Federation Middle School Boys Volleyball tournament at the Mount Saint Agnes Academy Gym on Wednesday.
Saltus rallied from a five-point deficit to win the first set 27-25 and went on to win the second set 25-20 to finish the day undefeated.
Warwick Academy Blue gave Saltus a scare in the semi-final when leading most of the match before Saltus rallied late in the game to win 25-23.
Somersfield had an easier time by beating Warwick Academy white 25-18 in the other semi-final.
