Bermuda golfer Nick Jones shot an 171 in his US Open Sectional qualifier at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida, to finish 54th in the 36 holes one day qualifier.Jones had two very tough rounds and started badly with a nine on his very first hole of the day.He was unable to recover from his first hole difficulties due to the very fast greens and finished the day shooting a 86 to go along with an 85 on his second 18, leaving him two spots from the bottom.
