Sims in the money again after top 10

Michael Sims notched another top ten finish on Saturday, his third in successive weeks on the e-Golf Tour.Putting together four straight sub-par rounds, the Bermudian pro took sixth place at the Championship at Woodside Plantation in Aiken, South Carolina, pocketing $5,000.That’s taken him up to seventh in the e-Golf ‘s money list, a tour on which 200 players have competed this year..The Georgia-based professional has earned over $48,600.American Drew Weaver tops the list with over $104,000Sims’ two under-par 70 on Saturday followed rounds of 68, 66 and 71 for a total of 275 (13-under-par).Winner Gordon Strother finished on 268 (20-under-round) after a last round 66. He took home the first prize of $18,000.Sims’ current streak was launched three weeks ago when he fired a sensational 59 at the Southern Open, a feat acheived by less that 20 players in history of tour golf.He lost the Southern Open in a play-off and a week later tied for fifth in the River Landing Open.The tour took a break last week.
