Michael Sims plunged 40 places down the leaderboard and narrowly missed the cut at the Web.Com Tour’s Air Capital Classic yesterday.The Bermnudian pro was just three shots behind the leader after a superb first round 69 at the par-71 Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas.But while his rivals were moving upwards, Sims could only manage a two-over 73 in his second round yesterday.That left him at even par over the 36 holes with the cut set at under one par.A bogey at the par-four third hole and a double-bogey at the par-four sixth undid much his work on Thursday.
