Turtle Hill to host second IoD tournament

Turtle Hill golf course at the Fairmont Southampton

The Institute of Directors Bermuda (IoD) will hold its second annual golf tournament at Turtle Hill Golf Club next Friday.

The captain’s choice tournament will involve teams of four and will have a 1pm shotgun start.

This event provides IoD members and those interested in learning more about IoD, or those who enjoy playing golf, the opportunity to network. It is open to the public at a fee of $100 per person in teams of four.

“We had such a good time last year that we knew we wanted to make this an annual event.” Michelle Pillar, the IoD board chair, said.

Danielle Riviere, IoD executive director added: “We have prizes for first through third place and a prize for closest to the pin. Originally, we thought this would be a members event with invited guests, but then we decided that the event was a great opportunity for anyone interested in meeting and engaging with our members or learning more about IoD.

“We have limited spots left so encourage anyone who would like to register to please do so as soon as possible. We are encouraging teams of four to register but if you are solo you can e-mail us and we will try to put you on a team.”

To register for the Institute of Directors Annual Golf Tournament or for more information, e-mail info@iod.bm or call 292-7080.
