Jarryd Dillas and Damian Palanyandi win Bermuda Four-Ball Championships
Jarryd Dillas and Damian Palanyandi won the Bermuda Four-Ball Championships for the third successive year on Sunday.
With the worst of the rain overnight and the rain holding off for most of the day, the second round was at least dry at Port Royal Golf Course and Dillas and Palanyandi took advantage of the conditions to finish with an impressive two-day total of 128 to finish 14 under par.
That was seven shots better than runners-up Jevon Roberts and Oliver Betschart with the team of James Godwin and Christopher Ford rounding out the top three at 4 under par.
There were first-time winners In the Ladies Championship division, with Cindy Ratzlaff and Morgan Lightbourne finishing with a two-round total of 156. They were nine shots clear of Linda Down and Lesley Balcombe with a combined total of 165.
The biggest winners of the tournament were to be found in the Senior Men’s Championship division with Arthur Jones and Robert Vallis winning by ten strokes after posting a two-day total of 132.
Hav Trott and Craig Christensen finished second at level par and the team of Steven Lambert Sr and Gregory Smith finished third at 8 over par.
