Bermuda Match Play Championships postponed
The Bermuda Match Play Championships, which was scheduled to take this place this week, has been postponed.
The three-day tournament was set to be played at Port Royal Golf Course between Friday and Sunday but will now be held on July 5 to July 7.
In a statement, the Bermuda Golf Association said the postponement was as a result of cicumstances beyond its control.
“Due to unforeseen external variables beyond our control, the BGA has taken the difficult decision to reschedule a major event on the BGA Golf Calendar,” the statement read.
“The confirmed new date for The Bermuda Amateur Match Play Championships will be July 5 to July 7 2024.
“The venue remains unchanged and will still take place at the Port Royal Golf Course. This decision was made after careful consideration of various factors affecting the successful execution of the event. The BGA remains committed to delivering a high-quality tournament experience for all participants and stakeholders.”
