Jevon Roberts and Oliver Betschart win Bermuda Four-Ball Championship
Jevon Roberts and Oliver Betschart maintained their lead to win the Bermuda Four-Ball Championship at Port Royal Golf Course on Sunday.
Betschart and Roberts produced back-to-back rounds of 67 to finish eight-under par and claim the title by one shot from James Godwin and Christopher Ford, who combined for a superb 64 in the final round on Sunday.
Roderick Forrest and Kirk Viehl finished third, with previous champions Damian Palanyandi and Jarryd Dillas finishing fourth at two-under.
The Ladies’ Championship was won by Ann Symonds and Tracy Burgess, who followed an opening round of 72 by shooting 79 on Sunday to finish nine-over for the tournament. Their final score was enough for a five-shot victory over the teams of Kim Botelho and Darina Betschart and Carine Bule and Tracy Nash.
Sheldon Chychrun and Arthur Jones came out on top in the Senior Men’s Championship after two rounds of 74 and 73 left them five-over. That gave them a three-shot win over Jeffrey Ingelman and Andrew Elliott, with Mark Ray and Michael Wells finishing third.
Spencer Wideman and Derrick Irby won the men’s net championship, Morgan Lightbourne and Cindy Ratzlaff won the ladies’ net competition and Ingelman and Elliott won the senior men’s net event.
