Bermuda will send 11 male and four female gymnasts to the Abie Grossfeld Invitational Meet in Connecticut this weekend.

It will be the first off-Island competition for several of the team members and the first meet of the season for the male gymnasts.

Head coach Duke Nelligan and his team of coaches are preparing their athletes for this year’s Junior Pan American Championships, Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and the USA Independent Gymnastics Club World Championships.

A Bermuda team will also head to Chicago for another major competition next month.
