The second annual Argus Walks the Walk event will help raise cash for charities across Bermuda this coming Sunday.The 5K event is run by the Argus Group and The Centre on Philanthropy, and allows participants to choose the Bermuda-registered charity they want their entry fees to benefit.The walk begins at 9am, and starts and finishes at the Wesley Street entrance to City Hall car park in Hamilton.Sign-in begins at 8.30am and a warm-up session will take place prior to the walk at 8.45am led by Betty Doyling, a trainer from the Court House gym in Hamilton.The entry fee is $25, with $20 from each entry donated to the charity selected by the participant and $5 going to support www.volunteer.bm, Bermuda’s only volunteer recruitment website.Register online at www.racedayworld.com or visit The Centre on Philanthropy office in Sterling House, 16 Wesley Street in Hamilton to sign up. Registrations will also be accepted on event day.
