Hamilton Health Centre still closed
The Hamilton Health Centre on Victoria Street is still closed following an incident that occurred on Friday.
The Department of Health called the closure “a temporary and precautionary measure” in a statement this afternoon.
Urgent services for infants and children will be provided at the Warwick Health Clinic from 8.30am to 11.30am and 2pm to 4pm and those booked for the travel clinic will be contacted by staff to reschedule an appointment.
The public may call 332-8887 or 236-0649 for general inquiries.
Services held on the upper level of the health centre for dental, maternal health, family planning and the communicable disease control clinic will operate as usual.
It is anticipated that normal services will resume later this week and an update will be given on Wednesday, December 2.
A spokesman for the department apologised for the inconvenience.
