Free health screening
The Department of Health will host a free health screening on Thursday.
The event at City Hall is part of a series of activities to promote healthy lifestyles during Public Health Week.
The screening, which has the theme You’re the Solution: Commit to Change, will feature ten booths offering health screenings between 10am and 2pm.
The event, to be opened by health minister Kim Wilson, will also feature music, food, prizes and activity classes, including yoga, line dancing and pole fitness.
There will also be public health award announcements.
Public Health Week will kick-off with a lunchtime Mall Walk through Washington Mall tomorrow.
Zumba in the Park, led by The Athletic Club, will take place in Victoria Park on Tuesday and the Energize Wellness — a lunch time Soca Sweat — will be held in Barr’s Park on Friday.
The Boasty Fun Family Mystery Walk & Fundraiser will be held by the Bermuda Heart Foundation on Friday evening, starting at CORE Heart Health Center.
