A passenger who lost consciousness on a flight is recovering today on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The victim, a 49-year-old Jamaican woman, took ill on a JetBlue flight from Antigua to New York yesterday.

The flight diverted to LF Wade International Airport at about 8pm so that she could receive treatment.

It refuelled and continued to its intended destination.
