Women invited to health symposium
Bliss Women will host a women’s health and wellness symposium at North Street Citadel Salvation Army on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Envisioning Bliss will feature a panel discussion, free pampering services, and presentations on women’s health.
“Too often women put others above themselves; this symposium is a reminder to take time to focus on our health so that we can care for others,” said Taja Fox, Founder of Bliss Women. “We want to encourage and empower women through providing access to critical health conversations and resources in an engaging way.”
Topics include preventing diabetes, shifting your mindset, community health, and nutritional health. Attendees can also sign up to become a mentor or mentee with Bliss Women’s mentoring programme.
Ticket proceeds will benefit North Street Citadel’s roof project.
“Bliss Women is grateful for the opportunity to give back to North Street Citadel Salvation Army. The Salvation Army provides hunger relief for individuals and families, rehabilitation for those struggling with addiction, life-skills classes, emergency disaster relief and much more. We are grateful to provide them with a small token of appreciation for all they do for the community of Bermuda,” Mrs. Fox said.
Attendees will leave with the basics of healthy living, critical resources to continue your wellness journey, a wellness bag with herbal tea, green and clean beauty products, organic soap and a feeling of bliss.
