Seminar this Saturday on future of medicine
A health seminar for medical professionals to gain education credits is on offer this Saturday from Colonial Group International.
The annual forum, focusing on medicine for a new decade, will be held from 8am at the Hamilton Princess Hotel.
Open to the public, the seminar is hosted by the Bermuda Heart Foundation and will feature talks by medical experts from New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Speakers will include Pokala Ravi Kiran, a leader in colorectal surgery, and Evelyn Granieri, specialising in geriatrics.
Also speaking are cardiology expert Christopher Irobunda, and Paul Lee, specialising in internal medicine, as well as nephrologists David Serur and Jai Radhakrishnan, and Marc Bessler, a leader in bariatric surgery.
The “Future of Medicine” series enables medical professionals on the island to earn up to 15 credits towards their annual education requirements.
