Covid-19: no new cases, six remain active
No additional cases of Covid-19 were identified today despite 744 test results being received.
The total number of recorded cases in Bermuda remains at 156, with only six cases active.
Kim Wilson, the Minister of Health, said: “I encourage everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Cup Match. Remember to practice ‘safe six’ and wear your masks if you can’t be six feet apart from others.”
The next coronavirus update will be on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said all six active cases are under active public health monitoring with no one in hospital.
A total of 141 people have recovered from the virus, and nine have died.
Bermuda’s country status was still “Sporadic Cases”, and the seven-day average of real time reproduction number remained less than 1.
