Covid-19: no new cases
More than 800 additional tests revealed no additional cases of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health announced today.
A spokeswoman said that 823 test results were received by the Ministry today and none were positive.
The total number of cases recorded in Bermuda remains at 177, and the number of Covid-19 deaths remains at nine.
The spokeswoman said there are nine active cases which are all under active public health monitoring.
Of Bermuda’s cases, 66 were imported while 90 were the result of local transmission with a known contact and 19 were the result of local transmission with an unknown contact.
The remaining two cases are still under investigation.
Bermuda’s country status is “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the island’s real time reproduction number is less than 1.
