Teddy may delay Covid-19 test results
Covid-19 test results may be delayed as a result of Hurricane Teddy.
The Ministry of Health said that test processing would be on hold until the storm had passed Bermuda and a return to work had been approved.
The Perot testing facility and the Covid-19 hotline were both closed on Saturday and yesterday because of the hurricane. Further notice will be given regarding reopening soon.
All travellers scheduled for departure will be given an e-mail notification indicating the new date, time and location.

No new cases for the coronavirus were recorded out of 523 test results received on Saturday.
The island’s total confirmed cases of the illness stood at 180.
There were five active cases, all under public health monitoring, with none in hospital.
There have been 166 recoveries and nine deaths.
The average age of all positive cases is 57, and the age range is from 10 to 101.

• 20 local transmission with unknown contact
• One under investigation
Bermuda’s country status is at sporadic cases.
