Age Concern sets up new Covid hotline

People age 50 and over will today be able to call a special hotline about Covid-19 vaccinations and registrations.

Age Concern has set up the service, which will also help with people who need transport to and from their appointment.

“We at Age Concern are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of Bermuda’s older population.

“In that effort, we are very happy to be partnered with the Ministry of Health and Project Action to make sure that all 50+ individuals who want to be vaccinated have the opportunity to do so,” said Callan Bassett, Age Concern’s Business Development Manager.

The number is 238-7525 and will operate between 2pm and 4pm from Monday to Friday. Transport will be provided through Project Action and will include travel to and drop-off after a vaccination appointment at both vaccination Centers; the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and Bermuda College.
