US CDC improves Bermuda’s Covid-19 status
Bermuda’s travel health status was today upgraded for the second time this month by the US Centres for Disease Control.
A spokeswoman for the US Consulate said the island was moved from Level 3 to Level 2 - “Covid-19 moderate“.
Bermuda’s status was switched by the CDC from Level 4 to 3 on March 1.
The spokeswoman said the Consulate remained in touch with the CDC and State Department, giving “updates on Bermuda’s status during the pandemic, safety protocols and testing regime for residents and visitors”.
She added that the US Consulate advised caution when travelling abroad due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic.
“As conditions evolve, the CDC and Department of State will regularly update advice to US travellers.”
