Covid-19 advice for caregivers

Bermuda Health Council (File image)

Home caregivers have been advised on getting temporary exemption from stay-at-home orders during the latest round of public health restrictions.

The Bermuda Health Council said registered home care providers should carry a copy of their official registration letter from the Health Council, which applies to those who registered after September 2020.

Caregivers should also carry valid photo identification.

Those who have not registered with the Bermuda Health Council as a home care provider, or whose caregiver registration has expired, should fill out a stay at home order temporary exemption form to get leave for their scheduled work hours.

Care provider registration can be found at this site.

Care providers working for an agency, care home or nursing home should contact their employers for letters of employment.

For questions or concerns, e-mail registrations@bhec.bm
