The Ministry of Social Development and Seniors will host an online panel discussion on holistic wellness today.

Tinee Furbert, the minister for seniors, said Government had received requests for information on the subject from families and care givers.

She said: “In response, we have invited professionals in the field to discuss the importance of maintaining your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

“The intention is to empower family caregivers, care professionals, and the public on enhancing the quality of life for those in our community who need support living with cognitive change.

The minister said she was “delighted” to be joined by a panel of experts in the field to discuss the importance of holistic health and community well-being.

Panellists include Ayesha Peets-Talbot, a doctor specialising in internal and functional medicine, Scott Smith, a personal trainer and Bermuda College lecturer, and Salintae Tuzo, a counsellor and life coach.

The webinar starts at 5pm and can be accessed through Facebook, YouTube, CITV, and Bernews.
