Help us say ‘thank you’ to our unsung Covid-19 heroes!
Covid and the resulting lengthy lockdowns caused enormous hardship for many in Bermuda.
People were cut off from their family and friends, they lost their livelihoods and, in some tragic cases, their loved ones.
But despite everything, people refused to be beaten and rose to the occasion in a myriad of ways, most of which never made the headlines but were undoubtedly invaluable to those who were helped by the unselfish actions of others.
This is why, today, The Royal Gazette is asking you to tell us who your ‘Covid Hero’ is because we, on behalf of the community, want to say ‘thank you’.
So, let us know who your Covid Hero is: send an e-mail to reporter Sekou Hendrickson – shendrickson@royalgazette.com – telling him who you are nominating as your Covid Hero and why in 200 words or less.
Make sure you include your contact information so that Sekou can get in touch if we need more details for a story that we will publish. If you have them, please also include the contact details of your nominated Hero – again, in case we need to get in touch for more information for the story.
So, come on! We know there are heroes out there – help us celebrate them and help us say ‘thank you’.
