Salmonella concerns have led to a brand of seasoning being recalled by its manufacturer, according to the Food and Drug Administration in the US.

The voluntary recall by McCormick & Company in Maryland was announced last week over possible contamination in three products after routine testing by the FDA.

The affected products are McCormick Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, McCormick Culinary Italian Seasoning and Frank's RedHot Buffalo Ranch Seasoning.

They were shipped to Bermuda and Canada in June and July, as well as to 32 different US states.

No illnesses linked to the products have been reported.
