Outbound travellers who need a fast antigen test inside 24 hours of departure will be able to get screened at Hamilton’s Washington Mall from today, it was announced last night.

The new test site, at 16 Church Street, will be open from 10.00am to 4.00pm every day.

Outbound visitors who indicate on their travel authorisation form that they do not need a PCR test will have an antigen test booked at the Washington Mall site a day before their scheduled departure.

Travellers who already have an outbound test appointment will get an e-mail to alert them to the new location for their antigen test.

Outbound people who indicated on their travel authorisation form that they need a PCR test will continue to have their outbound test booked as a PCR test at the Perot Post Office on the city’s Queen Street two days before their departure date.

Anyone who needs a 24-hour outbound antigen test will be able to book it online at www.gov.bm at the Washington Mall site.

The same site can be used to book PCR test appointments for travel at any of the available Government sites.

For more information on outbound traveller tests, contact the call centre at 444-2498 or at 1-833-570-2594.
