The autism charity Tomorrow’s Voices has appointed four new board members.

The new directors include experts in the fields of IT, law, medicine and psychology. Adrian Lodge, who joined the board in January, has more than 15 years of experience in application development and IT consulting.

His experience includes leading the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation’s Start-up Weekend event, acting as a mentor at the annual Hackathon and teaching WordPress.

Mr Lodge also designs mobile apps and games for Island Games, a local business he launched. He holds a master's degree in IT management from the University of Liverpool, UK.

Jannette Cabrera-Fox is a registered nurse and joined the board in January. She has lived in Bermuda for two decades after previously working in the United States.

Cherita Rayner, who also joined in January, is a registered clinical psychologist. Born in Bermuda, Dr Rayner completed her post secondary education in the US, attending Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore Maryland, and Alliant International University in San Francisco, California. She is the founder of Chrysalis Bermuda, a private psychotherapy practice, serving a child, adult and older adult population.

Dr Rayner is the president of the Bermuda Psychological Association and a member of the Bermuda Parole Board. She previously held the role of clinical psychologist and professional practice lead with the Bermuda Hospitals Board, and also served as a member of the BHB’s ethics committee.

Dr Rayner is a co-developer of the Mental Health First Aid Bermuda programme and currently serves as a programme facilitator.

Amir Mizrachy, who joined the board last month, has served in the canine special forces unit of the Israeli Defence Forces.

He is a lawyer, having received his LLB in Israel in 2010 and remains a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2012. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has lived in Bermuda since 2016.
