Bermuda’s death toll linked to Covid-19 has risen by one — bringing total confirmed fatalities from the pandemic to 161.
The island’s last death attributed to Covid-19 was reported on February 22.
According to the latest government update yesterday, three people are being treated in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for the virus, after that number fell to zero as of last week’s update.
A further three active cases are confirmed among people outside the hospital.
The figures come as the island approaches a milestone in the pandemic, with the first case of Covid-19 reported in Bermuda three years ago this Saturday.
Government figures show 18,669 people on the island have recovered from the coronavirus over the span of the pandemic.
