Partnership aims to support medical business solutions
A partnership has been formed in an effort to support business solutions that help in the management of chronic conditions while addressing the needs of the ageing population.
The Bermuda Health Council has joined forces with the entrepreneurial development initiative Ignite Bermuda, which will provide businesses with support through its five-month Accelerator Programme.
The collaboration will offer a platform for innovators with a passion for improving lives in three key areas: non-communicable diseases, chronic mental health conditions and ageing in place.
Solutions include targeting the prevention, management and treatment of non-communicable diseases, approaches to support individuals in managing and overcoming chronic mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic and effective support system, and empowering and enhancing the quality of life for the ageing population.
“This strategic shift is a testament to the Bermuda Health Council’s commitment to drive positive change in healthcare through innovation. We aim to attract forward-thinking entrepreneurs dedicated to creating sustainable and impactful solutions,” the BHC said in a statement.
“Join us on the journey to revolutionise healthcare and make a lasting impact on the lives of those living with chronic conditions and the ageing population.”
Individuals and companies may apply for the Ignite Accelerator Programme online through channels provided by Ignite Bermuda from January 15 to February 2.
