Survey aims to create ‘snapshot’ of health in Bermuda
The Bermuda Health Council has put out a call to the public to assist with a newly launched survey that looks into health on the island.
The Population Norms in Bermuda Survey, organised in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, was designed to gather comprehensive data to improve health outcomes in Bermuda.
The health council said: “Building on our previous soft launch, we aim to collect data from at least 1,000 participants aged 18 and over to create a robust snapshot of health in Bermuda.
“This survey is part of a larger international effort, utilising the EQ-5D-3L, a widely used measure of health-related quality of life.
“The insights gained will allow us to compare Bermuda’s health norms with those of other countries, contributing to global health research.”
Participation in the online survey is voluntary and anonymous, and the health council said the survey would take less than five minutes to complete.
Anyone interested in taking part was urged to do so before the deadline of June 30.
The health council added: “Your input will directly impact the health policies and services provided in Bermuda. Together, we can make a difference.”
