MRI services have been fully restored at a treatment centre after Hurricane Ernesto damaged facilities.

Bermuda Healthcare Services said today that it was ready to accept clients looking for magnetic resonance screenings.

Ewart Brown, the chairman of BHS, said: “We are delighted to inform the community that our MRI services are back up and running.

“The restoration was made possible through the successful importation of helium from the United States after we experienced significant shortages due to a prolonged power outage during the hurricane.”

He added: “MRI services are crucial for accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.

“We appreciate the understanding and patience shown by our clients and the community during this temporary disruption.

“Our commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services remains unwavering.”
