The St George’s Health Centre’s dental clinic is temporarily closed, the Ministry of Health announced.

A spokeswoman said the facility on Old Military Road is inoperable because the motor that powers the clinic’s suction lines has malfunctioned.

However, scheduled child health services at the clinic are not affected and will continue.

A replacement motor is expected to arrive this week and all oral health patients will be redirected to the Hamilton Dental Clinic until services resume in St George’s.

The clinic reopened in October after being closed for 12 months.
