A doctor and former Premier will speak on the evolution of Bermuda’s healthcare at a dinner this Thursday.

Ewart Brown, the head of Bermuda Healthcare Services, will be the keynote speaker for the biannual Docs for Dinner.

The talk, under the theme “Healthcare in Bermuda: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”, will touch on the history of the health industry, challenges and where it can go in the future.

Dr Brown said: “As Bermuda moves towards universal healthcare, we must reflect on our past while planning for the future.

“Discussions like these allow us to understand the progress we've made and the challenges we still face.

“Only through thoughtful dialogue and shared knowledge can we ensure that every Bermudian has access to the quality care they deserve.”

The dinner will take place on Thursday at 6.30pm at Blu Bar and Grill in Warwick.

Seating is limited and reservations were encouraged to be made early.
