Solstice open house celebrates tenth anniversary
A mental health and wellness centre is to host a free open house filled with informative workshops in celebration of its tenth anniversary.
Solstice is inviting the community to its Hamilton location for “an engaging and educational experience” with talks led by its team of clinical experts.
The workshops are designed to provide guests with practical tools, valuable insights and opportunities to connect with the professionals who have been “at the forefront of mental healthcare in Bermuda for the past decade”.
This celebratory event was designed to underscore Solstice's mission to empower individuals and strengthen community ties.
Founded in 2014, Solstice said it had become “a vital mental health resource” for individuals, children and families, and community organisations in Bermuda.
Kelly Madeiros, a Solstice cofounder and managing director, said: "The past decade has been an incredible journey of growth and learning.
“At Solstice, we've built not only a centre of care but a community of support.
“Our tenth anniversary is an opportunity to thank Bermuda and to invite everyone to take part in shaping the future of mental wellness on the island."
Eloïse Pitts Crick, a Solstice cofounder and clinical psychologist, said the ten-year milestone was testament to the dedication of the team and the trust of its community.
She added: "We are proud to have been a part of Bermuda's journey towards greater mental health awareness and wellbeing.
“This event celebrates that progress and a commitment to the work still ahead."
As part of the celebration, Solstice will unveil a suite of new programmes to expand its support for Bermudians, including mental health initiatives that target workplace wellbeing, cognitive health and wellness, and enhanced trauma recovery programmes.
“This event is not just about looking back — it's about looking forward,” said Ms Madeiros.
“We're introducing services that address the unique needs of our community, ensuring we remain at the forefront of mental healthcare in Bermuda.”
