Two goals in four minutes gave Longtails a winning start to 2016 in the Women’s Senior League on Saturday.

Tiara Correia scored a field goal in the 59th minute, and Selina Whitter added a second soon after as they beat Bluebirds 2-1 at the National Sports Centre.

Andrea Cann pulled one back for Bluebirds in the 70th minute, but it was little more than a consolation effort for the league’s bottom team.
