Canaries soar to victory

There were wins for Canaries and Budgies as the women’s senior hockey continued at the National Stadium at the weekend.
Talor Mullen’s field goal after 37 minutes yesterday was enough to give Budgies a 1-0 win over Ravens. Canaries, meanwhile, had a more comfortable time of things on Saturday, with two goals from Abigail MacEachim, and a Sandra Tandy effort giving them a 3-0 win over Bluebirds.
