KRyS announces two appointments in Bermuda office

Business advisory group KRyS Global has announced two new appointments within its Bermuda office.The firm, which focuses on corporate recovery, insolvency, forensic accounting and business advisory services, has appointed Wesley Edwards to senior manager and Rahlemah Robinson as office manager.They will both report to Patrick McPhee, managing director of the KRyS Global Bermuda office.In his role as senior manager, Mr Edwards will handle the strategic planning for, and supervision of, corporate recovery, forensic and liquidation assignments. He joins KRyS Global from KPMG, where he worked in its Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Grand Cayman offices, before going on to be based in London, UK. There he gained considerable technical expertise of insolvency law across many onshore and offshore jurisdictions.Mr Edwards is experienced in all types of formal and informal insolvency procedures including private liquidations, insolvent partnerships, administrations, company voluntary arrangements and receiverships in a range of trading companies, as well as personal bankruptcies. Through these diverse assignments he became proficient in asset tracing, fraud, litigation, debt recovery, identifying money laundering activities and handling offshore trusts.As office manager, Rahlemah Robinson is responsible for the smooth functioning of KRyS Global’s Bermuda operations in order to ensure high-quality and efficient service delivery for clients.Prior to joining KRyS Global, Ms Robinson held a number of corporate administration positions locally over an 11-year period at Hollis & Co, Cox Hallett Wilkinson, Appleby Spurling Hunter and Catlin Insurance Company Ltd. Most recently, she worked at Conyers Dill & Pearman, handling the day-to-day affairs of a portfolio of Bermuda-based clients.Ms Robinson began her career with US Airways as a customer service representative before working at the Supreme Court of Bermuda for a number of years in clerical roles.Patrick McPhee, managing director of the Bermuda office, KRyS Global, said: “It is an exciting time for the Bermuda office as we enhance our capabilities from both a technical and client services perspective with these appointments.“Wesley’s proven commercial, operational and strategic skills in a number of jurisdictions are a strong complement to our team as the majority of our work is cross-border in nature. While Rahlemah’s wide-ranging corporate support background will help us to enhance the clients’ experience of working with KRyS Global.”The Bermuda office, which opened in May 2011, is the newest in the KRyS Global network encompassing operation in Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas.
