Coulter to retire from Triton board
Bermudian-based Triton International Ltd, the world’s largest lessor of intermodal freight containers, has announced that David Coulter will retire from the board of directors at the expiration of his current term.
Mr Coulter’s term ends at the company’s annual general meeting on April 27.
He has been a director since 2015, having previously served as a director of Triton Container International Ltd since 2011.
Brian Sondey, chairman and chief executive officer of Triton, said: “On behalf of the board and management, I want to thank David for his combined 10 years of dedicated service to Triton. His deep financial knowledge, leadership experience, sound judgment and passion for our business have been a source of invaluable counsel and have helped guide our strong growth and track record of delivering shareholder value. We wish David and his family all the best following his retirement.”
The company said the board, led by its nominating and corporate governance committee, has commenced a search for a new director.
It said the board is committed to including highly qualified candidates who reflect diverse backgrounds, including diversity of gender, race and ethnicity, in the search process.
