Erik Andreas Lind and Sophie Rossini were elected to the board of directors of DHT Holdings Ltd at the company’s virtual annual general meeting of shareholders on Wednesday.

DHT said Mr Lind and Ms Rossini were elected as class three directors for a term of three years.

The company said shareholders holding an aggregate of approximately 107,683,466 common shares of DHT were present or represented by proxy at the meeting, representing approximately 63 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares of DHT as of the close of business on May 20, the record date for the annual meeting.

The shareholders of DHT also voted to ratify the selection of Ernst & Young AS as DHT’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31.

DHT is an independent crude oil tanker company. Its fleet trades internationally and consists of crude oil tankers in the very large crude carrier (VLCC) segment.
