Tech summit to connect digital thought leaders
Registration is now open for the third annual Bermuda Tech Summit, which will take place virtually October 13-15, the Bermuda Business Development Agency has announced.
Centred on the theme “Transforming the Digital Landscape,” the BDA said the free summit will bring together the world’s leading technology thought leaders to reimagine the digital universe of the future, providing attendees with insights on the latest trends and predictions of future developments.
Roland Andy Burrows, chief executive officer of the BDA, said: “Bermuda has repeatedly proved itself open to change, and we invite fellow change makers to attend this year’s summit to discuss the constantly transforming digital landscape.”
He added: “The 2021 Bermuda Tech Summit will give professionals the chance to expand their network, create new partnerships, and interact with leading innovators, legal experts, and business executives — a rare opportunity not to be missed.
“We are also excited to announce three platinum sponsors have already come on board to support the event: Appleby, Bittrex Global and Circle.”
Organisations can register their interest as potential sponsors at info@bda.bm, the BDA said.
The BDA added that the Global Blockchain Business Council, which it said is the leading industry association for the blockchain technology ecosystem, has provided the BDA with their expertise and insight into global tech developments.
The BDA said prospective attendees can visit (www.bda.bm/events/bermuda-virtual-tech-summit-2021/) to learn more about the Bermuda Tech Summit, which this year will be hosted on a new virtual platform - BDA Live.
The organisation said BDA Live delivers an on-island feel in a seamless conference setting that encourages networking, as well as the ability to view presentations and hold private meetings.
