Dibowitz becomes Valaris president and CEO

Bermudian-based Valaris Limited, the offshore drilling services company, has appointed Anton Dibowitz as president and chief executive officer.
Mr Dibowitz, who has been serving as interim president and chief executive officer of Valaris since September 3, is also a member of the company’s board of directors.
Valaris said Mr Dibowitz is a highly experienced executive with more than 20 years of drilling industry expertise.
Before joining the Valaris board in July, the company said, he served as an adviser of Seadrill Ltd, the Bermudian-based offshore drilling company, from November 2020 until March this year, and as Seadrill’s chief executive officer from July 2017 until October 2020.
