Strategically important role filled at Apex
Lucia Perchard has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of family office market at Apex Group Ltd, the Bermudian-based global financial services provider.
Ms Perchard, who will be based in Jersey, will report to Matt Claxton, global head of corporate solutions, and will be responsible for delivering Apex’s single-source solution to family office clients globally.
She joins Apex from IQ-EQ, where was responsible for the development of the family office value proposition.
Ms Perchard has more than two decades of experience, working closely with families and individuals both in the United Kingdom and in the Middle East, building a strong reputation based on the highest levels of client service, Apex said.
She was previously a director in Highvern’s family office team, before which she was responsible for a wide variety of relationships and complex cross-jurisdictional structures at Barclays and, more recently, Zedra in Jersey.
The company said her appointment is the latest indication of the continued growth trajectory of Apex’s Jersey operations, after the recently announced hires of Paul Monahan as head of corporate services, Jersey, and Chantal Slabber as head of client services and operations, Jersey.
Mr Claxton said: “Managing the complexities of private wealth requires a wide range of solutions, which must adapt to meet the rapidly changing needs of this global community.
“Apex’s compelling single-source solution for family office clients does just that, enabling them to simplify their operations, control costs and focus on their key business objectives.
“We are delighted to welcome Lucia, a strategically important appointment, who will bring a wealth of experience to lead the provision and delivery of our family office services.”
Ms Perchard added: “Apex’s single-source solution is a unique proposition in the market, providing all the services and products that family offices require globally, and delivered locally by expert teams.
“I am excited to be joining Apex Group and look forward to communicating our resonant value proposition to the market.”
