Athene notes offer set to close

Athene Holding Ltd, the Bermudian-based financial services company, has agreed to sell $400 million of 6.650 per cent senior unsecured notes due 2033.

The offering is due to close Monday, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Athene said it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.

The notes are being offered pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement that has previously been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
