Carey Olsen named best offshore law firm
Carey Olsen, the international law firm with an office in Bermuda, has been named the Best Offshore Law Firm at the 2023 eprivateclient Excellence Awards — the second time the firm has won the accolade in the ceremony's three-year history.
The awards, which took place on Thursday at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of firms across Britain and offshore legal, tax, fiduciary and advisory professions over the past year.
Alexa Saunders, partner and head of the firm's Jersey trusts and private wealth group, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
Ms Saunders said: "It is an honour for Carey Olsen to have once more be named as eprivateclient's best offshore law firm. The firm's global trusts and private wealth team has had an exceptional year and I am pleased to see the team's hard work reflected in this win."
Carey Olsen said it has one of the largest trusts and private wealth teams in the offshore legal industry and provides advice on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey.
The firm's offices in Hong Kong and Singapore advise clients in Asia on contentious and non-contentious trusts and private wealth matters.
This accolade follows the recent news that Carey Olsen was crowned Offshore Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Europe Awards 2023 for the second year running.
