Apex Group Ltd, the Bermudian-based global financial services provider, has appointed Frederick Shaw as country head, United States.

Mr Shaw has two decades of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Apex from private markets investor, Hamilton Lane, where he held the role of chief risk officer and global head of operations.

In his new role, Mr Shaw will oversee Apex’s rapidly expanding US business, which now employs more than 600 people across 15 local offices.

In addition to strong organic growth, Apex recently completed the integration and rebrand of the acquisition of Greenhough Consulting Group, bolstering its corporate and business services offering for funds and corporates.

Mr Shaw will work closely with Apex’s experienced regional leadership team, including recently appointed group president, Samir Pandiri; Georges Archibald, chief innovation officer and regional managing director, Americas; and Elaine Chim, global head of closed ended products.
