Bermudian-based Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewellery, has appointed Sandra Cochran to its board of directors.

The board also appointed Ms Cochran as a member of the human capital management and compensation committee.

Signet said Ms Cochran has more than 25 years of retail experience, most recently serving as president and chief executive of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc from September 2011 until last November, when she became executive chairwoman of the company and served in that position until last week.
