KPMG appoints new partners in Bermuda

KPMG in Bermuda has announced the appointment of two new partners ― Tom Tiplin as audit partner and Jay Payne as a tax partner.

Tiplin joins the firm from KPMG in the UK, where he focused on global and regional insurance and reinsurance clients operating in the non-life and life sectors.

KPMG said he had worked with a number of SEC registrants and large non-public companies operating in various jurisdictions, including the US; UK, including Lloyd’s; Singapore; and Germany.

Payne has more than 30 years of experience delivering professional tax services.

Throughout his career, his clients have included multinational public and private companies with industry-focused tax consulting to businesses involved in insurance, entertainment and hospitality, energy, healthcare, and real estate.
